This three hour workshop will equip you to recognize factors that set the stage for challenging behaviors and implement the ingredients of effective problem solving with children and youth.

If you want to know how to pursue expectations and teach skills to challenging youth, this course is for you.


This workshop is based on Collaborative Problem Solving, a model developed by Ross Greene, Ph.D., founder of the Center for Collaborative Problem Solving. It presents elements of the model which have influenced the treatment and services provided by Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families. Casa Pacifica is not affiliated with Dr. Ross Greene or the Center for Collaborative Problem Solving. Visit the Center for Collaborative Problem Solving at www.ccps.info.

Approval pending by the California Department of Social Services for 3 hours of continuing education units for administrator recertification  (Vendor GH 1000342-730-2; course number 342-0604-1543).

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (CEP 15108), 3 hours. 

Course meets the qualifications for 3 hours of continuing education credit for Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Provider 2522).
