Third event of Del Sol Days, the 5-day festival at Z Space to celebrate Del Sol String Quartet's 20th anniversary! In this San Francisco premiere of the multi-media production co-created by Del Sol and composer/video artist Chris Jonas, the Quartet performs inside a cube of transparent screens on which changing video images are projected. "Night" is part of the GARDEN series of music-driven intermedia performance/installations developed by Jonas over 3 years to explore the realms of place, night time and the intersection of the human and natural environments. The show will be followed by a special gala reception for ticketed donors. Tickets for the gala are purchased separately and include seating at the show.
