Description

Stress during the Holidays is often inevitable due to extra demands on our time that can make us feel anxious or even depressed. However, with a few practical tips, you can reduce the stress that often accompanies this season. This presentation will help you recognize three triggers for Holiday stress so you can minimize their impact. Whether your stress comes from being too busy or not busy enough, you will learn 12 tips that help prevent or reduce Holiday stress. You will be involved in several activities you can use alone or with family or friends to experience more joy, calmness, relaxation and meaning this Holiday season. During this workshop you will take a relaxation break as you engage in visualization, movement, poetry, music, drawing and writing. The activities are examples of ways you can find a calm respite, focus on enjoyment with others or enrich your Holiday experience.

After attending this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Identify seasonal stress triggers
  • List six tips for reducing Holiday stress
