Social Media Club has been organized for the purpose of sharing best
practices, establishing ethics and standards, and promoting media
literacy around the emerging area of Social Media. This is the
beginning of a global conversation about building an organization and a
community where the many diverse groups of people who care about social
media can come together to discover, connect, share, and learn.
The event will be FREE to attend, but you must pre-register so we may
prepare for your arrival.
The fine folks at BusinessWire will lead this discussion and we are accepting topics for the gathering.
Some suggestions are:
# Show and Tell - What are you currently doing in the social media arena? Bring examples or make a five-minute presentation.
# What do you want to know about social media implementation or tools?
How can SMC-SoFlo help you identify resources and make connections?
# How to grow the local community and foster collaboration
# Building a list of topics for discussion (we invite input from all attendees)
# Building a list of discussion leaders (everyone should have a chance to lead if they wish)
