This American Heart Association certified course is required for many healthcare professionals, as well as students in healthcare fields. This certification is often a requirement for professional licensure. Includes CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED instruction, and relief of foreign body airway obstruction. Practical skills are practiced and evaluated, in addition to a written exam. Certification card provided the same day class is completed.

Emergencies happen everywhere, all the time, not just in the hospital. Good quality CPR can prolong the body's circulation following cardiac arrest until advanced medical care can occur, thus decreasing tissue death to vital organs, such as the brain and heart.
