Event Details
The Sacramento Police Department is partnering with local businesses to host a FREE catalytic converter etching event. Your vehicle license plate number will be etched onto your catalytic converter(s). The etching may prevent your converter from being stolen. The presence of license plate numbers on catalytic converters can also provide police with the information needed to identify stolen property, contact victims, and apprehend and prosecute criminals.
The event will be open to everyone this time (it does not matter where you live). Space is limited however. Reservations are required. With a reservation you may come anytime between 12 pm and 5 pm.
