4th Europe – USA Forum
Transatlantic Dilemmas of Power
December 7, 2012
8:45 am - 4:00 pm
Kenney Auditorium
Johns Hopkins SAIS
1740 Massachusetts Avenue NW
Washington, DC
Leading opinion makers from both the US and Europe will assess the tools at their disposal to effectively respond to economic, strategic and social challenges facing the transatlantic community and the world at large.
We hope you can join us for this whole day event of discussions – the first of its kind to be held on the eve of a new presidential term. Speakers will address the transatlantic economy, security and resilience, the energy and the environment. The event will stress the importance of overcoming the outdated “Mars and Venus” dichotomy. It will be a contribution to the transatlantic agenda for the next four years.
Our speakers include leading representatives of the US Administration and members of the Congress of the United States, former French Minister of Defense Alain Richard, Italian Senator Mario Baldassarri, director of Chatham House Robin Niblett, Financial Times columnist John Dizard and many others.
