The 5W’s of Physical Abuse:  This training  will define what is child physical abuse, how to recognize physical abuse in the field, and the process involved once an abuse report is generated. It will include pictures and case studies involving physical abuse. It will go over patterned injuries, bruises, burns, fractures and conditions commonly mistaken for physical abuse.  It will also include the Child Protection Teams role in abusive injury and how to contact CPT with any concerns or questions. (CPT will be holding a 5 part training series. Attendance at any session is open to all system of care staff.)
