Management Center's Using Humor to Deal with Difficult Situations and People at Work
Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (EDT)
White Plains, NY
Everyone has vulnerabilities to certain types of “personalities” at work. This workshop focuses on eight classic types and what makes them “tick”. Most importantly, it explores with all participants how, when and where their own “triggers” came into their lives and got a grip on them. Strategies for overcoming and managing these dysfunctional relationships will be explored with all participants. This is a humorous and refreshing workshop.
Topics to be discussed:
• How to identify the 8 personalities types
• How to deal with each type in a productive manner
• Strategies and techniques to diffuse and overcome impasses
• Role playing and other hands-on techniques designed to develop skills for dealing with difficult people will be practiced.
Who should attend:
Executive directors, program leaders, all non-profit professionals who want to improve workplace interrelations.
Dr. Grant Loavenbruck is a long time practicing psychotherapist and non-profit management expert.
