Friday, February 16, 2007 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (ET)
The Global Coral Reef Alliance and Help PPFISCH have proven technologies for remediating damaged marine ecosystems, dissappearing coastlines, and for regenerating a multitude of valuable species. Working in tandem with SIDS communities (Small Island Developing States), we are tackling the realities of global warming and environmental degredation head on.
We are hosting our inaugural bash to support this cause.
Guests will be treated to an eclectic fine art auction, featuring contempary paintings and sculptures by a select group of New York and Cape Cod artists; as well as a wine tasting, light fare reception, and live music.
The proceeds of this event will directly fund the construction of the first BIOROCK reefs in the Marshall Islands beginning in March of this year.
With special recognition to Black History Month and in honor of Dr. Robert Pritchard Starling II, the founder of Black History Month, and honorary member of our advisory board, we welcome all African American art and patronage to this momentous event.
While the attendance is free, suggested donations are $50-$250. Please RSVP as space is limited. Your support of this event to save the planet from the effects of global warming will be greatly appreciated.
