Fort Mckavett Paranormal 101 Retreat

The Texas Paranormal Research Paranormal 101 Event is hosted by Texas Paranormal Research, Ghost Chatter Radio, and Para Investigators Radio.This will be a two day paranormal 101 event and hands on investigation at Fort Mckavett, near San Angelo, Texas.  Do not go forward thinking this is your average paranormal conference.  This is just not true.  The TPR Paranormal 101 event is like no other.  First you will travel to the center of the beautiful Hill Country in Central Texas.  Once you arrive, check in, and get situated in the sleeping barracks, then you will get your team assignments and will begin an all night investigation in one of 17 historic buildings on the 1850's frontier Army Fort.  After a night of real time investigating in teams of 6 to 8 people you will retire for rest.  Keep in mind you will be sleeping bunk style just like the calvary did in the same rooms they slept in.  Almost all of these buildings have paranormal activity that occurs regularly in them and our Team have captured loads of evidence including photos, EVP's and thermal imaging data. 

Saturday morning we will sleep in and just mingle.  You can explore the fort in the daylight and have access to all the buildings, even the ones off limits to the general public.  Note the fort will be open during the day so you may witness visitors during the daylight hours exploring the fort as well.  At 3:00 pm, we will have a class in the old schoolhouse covering the basics of paranormal investigating and will teach you how to use the tools of the trade.

Saturday night we will be back out investigating at the fort.  Teams can also rotate down to the old cemetery and creek bed.  The haunted creek bed is 1/4 mile walk thru the woods and is an optional location.

Sunday morning we will start packing up for the trip home.  Buildings should be vacated by 12:00 Noon.  You will not find a better actual investigation event for the money you have to spend which is only $25.00 for the entire weekend.   

Please remember that this is an 1850's fort in the middle of the Hill Country.  You will be sleeping on cots set up in the actual buildings that are deemed haunted.   IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING ROOMS AND SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS ASK FIRST.  TICKETS ARE NON REFUNDABLE IF YOU DECIDE YOU DO NOT LIKE THE ACCOMODATIONS THERE.  THIS IS A FULL ON INSTRUCTIONAL EVENT WITH FULL ON PARANORMAL INVESTIGATING IN A FRONTIER FORT DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS.  I THINK YOU WILL ADMIT FOR THE PRICE AND WHAT YOU GET COMPARED TO THE NORMAL CONFERENCE, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED.

• THE EVENT ALLOWS ATTENDEES TO ACCESS AREAS OF THE FORT NOT NORMALLY AVAILABLE. ARTIFACTS ARE NOT TO BE DISTURBED OR DAMAGED IN ANY WAY. SECURITY MONITORING WILL BE ACTIVE & SECURITY MEMBERS WILL BE ON SITE. ANY THEFT, VANDALISM, LITTERING, ETC. WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
• GUESTS ARE TO BE AWARE THAT THE EVENT STAFF'S INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE FOLLOWED. THIS IS AN INVESTIGATION, THEREFORE SAFETY IS A TOP PRIORITIES. THE STAFF'S DUTY IS TO ENSURE THAT ALL HAVE A GOOD TIME AND BENEFIT FROM THE EVENT. PLEASE COOPERATE.
• BE ADVISED THAT WE WILL BE CONDUCTING LIVE RADIO BROADCASTS FROM THE LOCATION DURING THE TRAINING AND INVESTIGATIONS.
