Event Details
Ex-Flux Resident, ceramic artist, and food guru Ellen Kleckner will
teach you how to slice-n-dice, prepare and devour your own
homemade kimchi!
Our recipes will be all-vegan, you can modify to taste.
We’ll
discuss techniques, durations, temperatures, and health benefits of probiotics. We'll have some samples for tasting and every
participant will walk away with a self-made “starter jar” to enjoy later.
(Rumor is sauerkraut will also make an appearance!)

In our 15th years of operation, we have been a staple of the Queens arts community since 2001 since relocating to Long Island City. In our new (and renovating) facility on 29th Street, we are an artist-run centre and gallery, also providing workshops and resources to our Resident artists and the public.
