RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (" Agreement")
The laws of the Province of Ontario apply.
By purchasing a membership online, the purchasor(s) hereby makes application for membership as a member of the Society for American Wines (SAW) and agrees to accept, uphold and be governed by this Agreement.
In the event that this is a "Multiple Membership", this agreement is applicable to all members named.
I hereby certify that I (we) or any guests are of legal drinking age in the Province of Ontario, 19 years or older.
I (we) hereby release SAW and its directors from any damages caused by accident or incident, and agree to save SAW and its directors harmless and indemnify them from any damage to person or property arising from attendance and/or participation at any SAW tastings, meetings and events and agree to voluntarily assume any risks associated with same.
I (we) take full responsibility for actions arising from the amount of alcohol consumed at all SAW tastings, meetings and events, and accept same for those guests for whom tickets have been purchased.
I (WE) HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS AND HAVE FREELY ACCEPT WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT OR ASSURANCE OF ANY NATURE AND INTEND IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF LIAB1L1TY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT OF THE LAWS OF THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO AND AGREE THAT IF ANY PORTION OF THIS AGREEMENT IS HELD TO BE INVALID, THE BALANCE, NOTWITHSTANDING, SHALL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT. I (WE) UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THIS RELEASE AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE EXTENDS TO ACCIDENT, lNJURY, OR DEATH OCCURRING DURING THE TERM OF MY MEMBERSHIP IN SAW.
