Event Details
Green Armada and The Green Teams United support many
area cleanup events. The Mayor's Beautification
Program asked Green Armada for waterway support with their :
22nd Annual Hillsborough River & Waterways Cleanup followed by the Rollin' on the River Picnic
November 21, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Tee shirts and breakfast at the Lowery Park Boat Ramp (North Blvd. at Sligh Ave., Tampa)
From there all Green Armada Paddlers will car pool to the launch site at Sulphur Springs Park. Please be at the launch site by 9:00. Then we will all return to Lowery Park for the picnic, music and fun.
If you prefer to cleanup at a land base site contact ronnie.oliver@mbptree.org or call 813-221- 8733 to pre-register for a land site. Tell them Green Armada sent you.
Paddlers will furnish their own water, snacks, sunscreen and insect repellent. Green Armada and Mayor's Beautification Program will furnish gloves and trash bags. All Volunteer Paddlers must wear personal flotation devices while on the water!!!
Both Green Armada and Mayor's Beautification Program waivers must be brought to the event signed. Children attending must have parents sign both waivers prior to the event. Any questions email semrick@greenarmada.org or call Steve's cell 813-464-1729.
