Event Details

5 Sessions. Tuesdays, 5:30pm-7:00pm, 11/17 through 12/15. For kids, ages 10-15 with little to no electronics/hardware programming experience.

We'll work with a couple of different tools to make programmable objects with microcontrollers. We'll design and prototype circuits with breadboards and program them with c, tools commonly used by professional engineers today. We'll make a number of different interactive objects -- a digital thermometer, a stopwatch, and play with using these tools to control other basic electronics components and circuits.

The suggested donation for the workshop is $100. All of the events, classes, and workshops hosted and run by the Parts and Crafts Collective are free, or operate on a sliding-scale. Donations greater than the suggested amount are deeply appreciated and help us create our projects and run our programs and allow us to work with people who could not otherwise afford to come to our events. No one will be turned away based on their lack of ability to pay.
