AFP Mentoring Program
A Mentoring and Basic Training program for fundraisers with 5 years or less experience, for Pre-CFRE Development Professionals and Their Invited CEO and Trustee Guests.
Cost: Principles of Development and Mentoring Program
$50.00 (members only)
Principles of Development (only) -- $35.00 members
$50.00 non-members
Dates: Principles of Development – February – August
Mentoring – February through December
MENTORING PROGRAM (AFP Members wishing to participate in the mentoring program must take the Principles Course)
1. Mentees will be matched with a seasoned Fundraising Professional for a yearlong mentorship.
2. Mentees will work with their mentors on one project that is relevant to the mentees employment. The project will be completed by November 2007.
3. Mentor and Mentee will meet on a monthly basis.
