Join us for dinner, drinks, and a screening of V-DAY 11.11.11 to kick off Veteran’s Day weekend
Loyola University School of Communication faculty members John C.P Goheen and Aaron Greer have directed and produced a powerful documentary on what it means to be a veteran in America. The 100-minute film chronicles the lives of veterans of all ages, genders, branches of the military and wars served to tell the collective experience of being a veteran.
An Illinois man profiled in the film will display his Fallen Heroes Traveling Memorial Wall, a tribute to the fallen soldiers of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the event will close with a Q&A session with the director and filmmakers.
This event is FREE for students who register with an LUC email address.
