Skate-a-thon FUNDRAISER January 9 @ The Lake Morey Resort
Part of the Lake Morey Winter Weekend
The Upper Valley Trails Alliance presents the annual Skate-a-thon FUNDRAISER on Saturday, January 9. Join other winter sports enthusiasts as they skate laps on the Lake Morey Skating Trail, the longest groomed skating trail in the United States. All proceeds from this FUNDRAISER go to mainatining the skating trail for the public. Entry fee gets you free Nordic Skate Rentals (first come, first served), lunch, a raffle ticket, and a discount to the WinterFest on January 10 at the Hulbert Outdoor Center (see below). Skaters get one additional ticket for each lap around the lake. Purchase your tickets here or on the day of the event at the Lake Morey Resort. Lunch provided by Boloco.
You can register here or at the Lake Morey Resort on the day of the event. All parties that Pre-Register receive a free reusable Upper Valley Trails Alliance grocery bag!
Other events during the Annual Lake Morey Winter Weekend include Winter Skills Workshops on January 9 and WinterFest on January 10, both at the Hulbert Outdoor Center. Attendees to Skate-a-thon will receive a discount at WinterFest. For more info and directions click here.
Accomodations are available for attendees of any Lake Morey Winter Weekend event at the Lake Morey Resort (tel. 800-423-1211) for the discounted rate of $89/night plus applicable VT taxes. Please mention Lake Morey Winter Weekend when booking.

Skate rentals provided by Nordic Skater, Norwich, VT.
Like all outdoor events, the specific activities will be dependant on weather and ice/snow conditions. As such, refunds will not be offered unless UVTA cancels the event. Safety Gear (helmet, wrist guards, etc) is strongly recommended while skating on the ice trail.
