Event Details

This month's gathering will be an interactive discussion focused around 'How to do a better interview'.

We are inviting journalists (traditional media and citizen - names to be announced shortly) to come in and share their most important interview techniques. Specifically, hints and tips about getting the most from the interview opportunities. After their 'presentation', we will break into small groups for about 30 minutes to discuss more deeply.

There will be a short break, and people will pair off and do 4-10 minute interviews with each other to hone their techniques. After which, we will get back together as a group and talk about what we learned.

We plan to podcast and video the entire event and the content will be posted to the SMC site to share with the 'world'.

We are looking for support from local businesses and/or individuals to cover drinks and snacks at the meetings, and for a few volunteers to help setup/cleanup. Please contact socialmediaclub [at] gmail [dot] com if you would like to support your local chapter.
