Superheroes stand for truth, justice, and fun at the Salt Lake Shopping Center on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 10 AM – 1 PM. There will be a costume contest, superheroes, trick-or-treating, games, activities, and more! Krater 96’s Wayne Maria will be emceeing throughout the whole event.

From 10 to 11 AM only, kids 13 and under can participate in a costume contest and win great prizes! There will be three different age categories: 5 and under, 6-9, and 10-13. The Best Superhero Costume, Spookiest Costume, Most Creative Costume, and Most Enchanted Costume from each age category will win a prize!

Trick-or-treat around the center at participating stores and restaurants while supplies last! Kids can defeat evil villains and receive a prize in one of our games, jump and zoom around in an inflatable bounce house, and fly by our face painting booth! There will be additional activities and prizes provided by the Salt Lake Shopping Center Merchants.  KRATER 96 will be giving away UH Football tickets through an enter-to-win contest. The Hawaii Foodbank will also be on-site collecting canned food (2 cans) or monetary donations ($1). The top five requested canned foods are meats, fruits, vegetables, soups, and meals.
