Who:

Everyone interested in learning about 4-H Vegetable Gardening Curriculum or doing 4-H Vegetable Gardening projects. Leaders’ bring your youth members as well; our 4-H’ers and your kids are encouraged and welcome to attend the first of many Vegetable Gardening Workshops. 

 

What:

Extension Educations resident Commercial Horticulture Agent; Michael Orfanedes, Ph.D. will be holding an 4-H Vegetable Gardening Organizational Kickoff Event.

 

We will be reviewing some of the vegetable gardening basics as well as starting some plants in the greenhouse and direct sowing some seeds into the garden.

 

Where:

Broward County Extension Education Office (Hurricane House) 3205 College Ave Davie, FL 33317

 

The Hurricane House which is conveniently next to the garden and the nearby greenhouse area.

 

When you enter the UF Campus, drive straight back following the signs for the Hurricane House and turn right after the mural.
