*IMPORTANT HACKATHON UPDATE*
In the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy, participants now have the option to also create a product centered around relief efforts to help those affected. They also have the ability to create products that will help prepare others for future emegency situations.
The DoSomething.org and Warby Parker Hackathon will take place on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 10am-8pm. This won't be just any regular hackathon and believe us, you won't want to miss it.
Hackawhat?
BE A SHOW OFF. We want developers who aren't afraid to try something crazy, and in turn start the base for DoSomething.org's next awesome product.
ACCESS TO OUR API. DoSomething.org operates on multiple platforms. You can build from our site, on SMS, on Facebook, Mobile Commons, Four Square... take your pick.
MEET BADASS NERDS. Expect some industry innovators to be in attandance. We're also putting together a kick ass judging panel.
