               Class Dates:     Nov. 6, 13, 20, and Dec. 4th

  • 4  Session   Lecture and Hands on Class 

  

  • This is a progressive course. You should plan to  attend all classes

  • Web Browsers: What they are, how to use them and the most popular. Internet Explorer, Mozilla's Firefox, Apple's Safari , Opera and Specialty Browsers such as Flock.

 

  • Search Engines and Directories. How they help us find our way through Cyberspace

  • Email: , Webmail, Pop3, IMAP  Using e-mail attatchments

  • Learn about Facebook, Myspace and other social sites

  • Newsgroups:  How to use them  for learning, sharing, and entertainment

  •   Blogs, Webpages and Wikis  How to create your own

  • Online Social bookmarking De.lic.ious, Diggs, Furl, Flickr and more

 

  • Music, Videos Photos and more right on your desktop
