Welcome to our first PDX Doodle Meetup schedule! Thank you for joining the mailing list and I hope to meet you at the park! The first Doodle meetup will be held at:

I'll be the one with the two fluffy doodle puppies. I'll wait by the front. I have red hair and my name is Barbara, I look forward to meeting you all.
BTW, I'd love to hear suggestions from fellow members on which park you'd like to meet at next week. I've been doing a lot of research on local dog parks and we have plenty to choose from.. maybe too many because I've been having a heck of a time picking. I'd love to hear which park you think would be fun.

Some Portland Dog Parks to consider:
Mt Tabor Park: Mt Tabor is an extinct Volcano park,
complete with many trails up to the summit that has beautiful views of
downtown Portland and Mt Hood on a clear day. There is an off-leash dog
area under some beautiful pines.
Gabriel Park: This is a nice neighborhood park
in Portland that has over 90 acres. There are restrooms, skateparks and
sports fields. There are trails but also an off-leash dog area.
The Ross Complex: SE Ross St & SE 18th St, Vancouver, WA
Sellwood Riverfront Park: SE Spokane St. & Oaks Pkwy. Portland, OR

(these should be unspoken rules but you just never know)
- All dogs must have a current vaccinations. All dogs over the age of six months shall have a current rabies vaccination.
- Handlers must clean up after their dogs. Pick up poop--always, everywhere!
- Dogs must be on leash when entering and exiting the off-leash dog area.
- Dogs must be under control and in view of their handler at all times.
- Aggressive dogs are not allowed. The handler of any dog exhibiting
aggressive or unruly behavior is required to immediately remove the
offending animal.
- Handlers are responsible for any injuries caused by the dog(s) under their control.
- DO NOT Tease, tantalize or provoke any animal with the intent to cause fear, anger or cause injury to the animal.
