EVENT DESCRIPTOR – Rated by Golf Magazine as one of the “Top 10 New Courses You Can Play (in 2007),” The Crossings at Carlsbad is more than just a course!  We had a great event at The Crossings in November despite the blustery, not-so-warm SOCAL day.  The Crossings at Carlsbad is more than just a golf course as it captures the warm friendly spirit of its own unique seaside community.   Inspired by its surrounding natural coastal habitation, Pacific Ocean views, and protected native flora and fauna, as its backdrop, journey through the rugged canyon terrain, sweeping emerald green fairways, and memorable vistas and discover the unspoiled beauty that will inspire an unforgettable round of golf.

Please note that we will be playing form the GOLD tee boxes and any gents joining our group will play from the white boxes.  This yardage supports the respective flights for competitive golf.

Dress Code: Country Club attire is required; collared shirt, shorts are acceptable as long as the length is between the knee and four-inches above. Soft-spikes are mandatory.

Policy on Event Registrations/Cancellations * Cancellations PRIOR to the event deadline published on EventBrite are refundable. Please contact the Event Captain with your cancellation. * Cancellations AFTER the event deadline are not refundable, unless a suitable replacement is found. Finding a suitable replacement is the responsibility of the person cancelling and the event captain should be notified PRIOR to the event date if a replacement player has been arranged. *** Please note that the replacement player will be responsible for paying their own greens fees and must remit payment to the Event Captain before they tee off. * Cancellations AFTER the event deadline for which there is no replacement and where the event course does not charge EWGA for the cancelled player are refundable. * ALL Cancellations entitled to a refund under the policy described above, shall be remitted to the cancelling player via check sent regular mail on or before the 15th of the month which immediately follows the month in which the event was held. The check shall be made payable for the full amount of the registration fees less a $5.00 service charge to cover the costs incurred from EVENTBRITE for the transaction. * Cancellations of events initiated by the EWGA-San Diego Board (e.g. for lack of participation, natural disaster, etc.) shall be fully refundable to any pre-paid participants. * When a player who has NOT remitted payment in advance, cancels their registration AFTER the event deadline for which there is no replacement and where the event course charges EWGA for the cancelled player, such cancelling player shall be responsible for remitting the full event fees to EWGA-San Diego for that event PRIOR to registering for any future events. * In no case shall EWGA-San Diego sustain a loss for refunded event fees. * In no case shall the fees collected from a player who later cancels be used to pay for the round of golf of another member without the express permission of the cancelling player. Such permission must be given in writing and delivered to the event captain prior to date of the event.
