Did you know that a 70-year-old brain has the same number  of neurons  as a 25-year-old brain? On October  16, 2012, Longwood at Oakmont, a Presbyterian SeniorCare Continuing Care Retirement Community in Plum, will host an educational seminar for older adults and caregivers  entitled “Save Your Brain” with  Dr. Paul Nussbaum, an internationally renowned expert in neuroanatomy and author.

During the event, Dr. Nussbaum  will inform attendees about the five “domains” - Socialization, Physical Activity, Mental Stimulation, Spirituality/Mediation and Nutrition - that older adults should engage  in to maintain a healthy  brain lifestyle.Additionally, attendees will learn about basic brain functions and exercises to prolong  cognitive abilities.

Seating for this event  is limited. To register, please visit  www.longwoodatoakmont.com or call 877-214-8410.
