The Center for Teaching & Learning initiates its Thinking Critically in… series with presentations on models used to develop students’ critical thinking in humanities and social sciences.  In the second session, Rosie O’Beirne will describe her culture blog exercise, which leverages community based events and activities for student inquiry.  These sessions will conclude with an open discussion on how elements of these approaches might be adapted to other disciplines.
