Poetri's Poetry Workshop wrapped up it's latest class on August 30th with an amazing group of students, of which six of them had taken it before, and among them, all but one had taken it more than three times. That's the beautiful thing about the workshop. It's for EVERYbody EVERYtime. Whether it's the first time or sixth time, there's a lot you will learn. We often receive letters and emails from people who WANT to take the class, but can't afford the cost. Here are portions of some we've gotten.

It is a collection of poems dealing with abuse, black society, love, heartbreaks & catfiights, & women being appreciated for themselves, being every day divas instead of trying to be video vixens & beauty queens.
