This class focuses the basics that every agent needs to understand when dealing with Foreclosure and Short Sale Contracts.  We go over specific HUD required procedures and proper handling of earnest money and how to avoid defaulting contracts.  We'll discuss the basic structure of a correct Short Sale Contract (Who's in the Contract?  When does it become Binding?) and clear up some common misconceptions.  Plus, we'll look at some examples of common language in REO Addendums, which completely control over the language in the GAR Contract when they're attached.  This class is based on actual situations and repeated questions about these types of transactions from agents of every experience level.   The goal is to learn from the questions and problems so many agents are facing right now and avoid pitfalls and misunderstandings.
