This is an introductory course designed for individuals who do not have an accounting background.  We will cover the principles of accounting and learn about the basic financial statements -- Ballance Sheet, Income Statement (P&L) and the Cash Flow Statement -- how to set up an appropriate Chart of Accounts and form a better understanding of the inter-relationship of the Financial Statements and how to better interpret and understand them.  We will also begin a discussion of basics of the QuickBooks program with the intent of following up in coming months with more workshops dealing with the details of Quickbooks.

If you have a notebook computer with QuickBooks software installed, you are invited to bring it with you to the class.

The course fee is $40 per person, and lasts 2 hours.  Pre-registration is required.
