For this event we will work with the Admissions office during Open House! This is event is really cool because we are the first faces that prospective students see when come to Northern!
The event goes from 8am - 12pm and if anyone wants to stay later than that they certainly can! What we do is give information to the prospective student and their families. This could include letting them know where departments are located to coordinating which bus tours they will be attending!
There is free lunch for staying up through noon! It is mandatory for volunteers to be there from 8-12! If there is a problem or if you really want to volunteer but you have a class where you need to leave a little early please let me know prior to signing up so I can let Cindy know!
This event is hosted in the Capitol Room and you are going to look for a lady named Cindy Carls! She knows that we are coming so if you tell her you are with APO she will let you know what to do!
ATTIRE - very important! Dress Buisness Causual! Also if you have anything NIU colored I would recommend wearing it. Example outfit: Dress pants with red sweater or NIU t-shirt!
