Hailing from the Crescent City, EARPHUNK has emerged as one of the premier jam acts in the Southeast. The quintet has been steadily building a rabid fan base across the United States with their brand of high-energy funk, inspired improvisation, and dynamic stage production.

EARPHUNK has performed in more than 40 cities over the past 12 months, including performances at Wakarusa Music Festival, Bear Creek Music Festival, and The Purple Hatters Ball, and sharing the stage with Galactic, Big Gigantic, Toubab Krewe, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Zoogma, Perpetual Groove, Break Science & Chali 2NA, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, and Rubblebucket.

The roots for COPE were first planted in Ohio as a family band featuring the brothers Stadelman and their cousin, guitarist Roger Pinkerton. After years of playing together and learning the value of harmony and melody (through study of the Beatles and other “classics”), the band then joined forces with drummer Dave Gerulat in 2004. After Pinkerton left the band, COPE retooled with the help of Juan

Montero, a local stalwart in the Tampa music scene. Montero’s addition to the band proved to be an excellent choice, as his work on keys and saxophone added a newer dimension and layer of sophistication. This muscular four piece arrangement established the framework that ultimately resulted in the release of the eponymous “Going Home,” which was nominated for the Homegrown Music Network “Studio Album of the Year” in 2009. COPE turned that momentum into several headlining spots at marquee music festivals up and down the East Coast, before venturing back to the studio for the recording and release of their newest album, “See.”

COPE was recently dubbed the "Undisputed Jam Kings of Tampa Bay" (Mark Warren - Skipper's Smokehouse Talent Agency), and the band ventures forward into the next decade, primed and ready for discovery. With a sound that bridges varied genres and eras, one will find lots to chew on the recipes that COPE dishes. We invite you to have a taste, or to take a big ole’ bite. You’re going to love what you hear, and you’ll find these arrangements addictive.
