Doug currently serves as the CEO and Breckenridge Properties, a student housing real estate development firm, headquartered in Austin, Texas. Doug is the Founder of DSG Consulting, Inc. which has served Fortune 500 technology and manufacturing companies develop and implement market strategies to improve revenue performance and market share. During his 15 years with DSG,
Doug has served more than 100 companies in more than 30 countries. Doug is also a best-selling author in the “faith and workplace” space with five books including Your Work matters to God, and a frequent speaker on this subject
About our Co-Chairs:
Gene Ellerbee
Gene spent his corporate business career with The Procter and Gamble Company where he rose through the sales organization, holding every position from entry level sales representative to Manager of Worldwide Sales Operations prior to holding General Management positions and ultimately becoming Vice President of Customer Development. After 30 years with P&G, Gene retired to answer The Lord’s call to full time Ministry.
Gene served for eight years as President and CEO of Bill Glass Ministries, the world’s largest evangelistic Prison ministry. During that period the ministry grew eight-fold with just a 45% increase in expenses and more than 60,000 prison inmates gave their lives to Jesus Christ each year.
After retiring from prison ministry, Gene founded The Ellerbee Group, consultants to Business and Ministry Management. As President & CEO, he worked with other business CEOs and executive staff in the areas of sales, marketing, strategy development, organizational & performance development and personnel management. He also worked with Senior Pastors and their staffs in the areas of fund development and church growth.
In addition to his business and ministry activities, Gene currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Christian Fellowship Enrichment and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Colorado Foundation. He is also the former Executive Vice President & CEO of Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International. Gene attended Texas A&M University and later the University of Colorado, where he was a scholarship football player and heavyweight boxer.
Gene and his wife of 45 years, Joe Beverly, have five grown daughters and 15 grandchildren. They are members of Pedernales River Fellowship church and live in the Texas Hill Country, outside of Austin.
Tom Jordan
Tom brings to his role as C12 Chair over 30 years of experience owning, building and operating a highly successful executive benefits and compensation consulting practice. He has personally applied his craft to over 450 businesses and financial institutions during that time. He has significant experience in general management, strategic planning, and compensation design with an emphasis on retention and reward strategies for key management, financial modeling, banking and marketing. His education includes under graduate and graduate degrees in Sociology, Economics and Financial Services.
Tom has 4 children, one granddaughter and is married to Ann Brown Jordan. He came to know the LORD and became a follower of Christ at the age of 33, and has since been an active participant in several ministries, both local and national. His calling as a C12 Chair is to assist his partner and Austin Area Co-Chair, Gene Ellerbee, in developing the central Texas area for The C12 Group. He is passionate about helping to equip business owners and CEOs in applying their faith on a daily basis and in their own work environment while continuing to build viable, sustainable and financially successful companies.
