• Prepare hazardous materials for transportation
• Prepare or sign paperwork such as a manifest or bill of lading for the transportation of hazardous materials or waste
• Are responsible for transporting hazardous materials, or supervise those who do
• Modify, mark or label containers, drums or cylinders or other packaging as qualified for use in hazardous materials transportation
• Operate a vehicle used for transporting hazardous materials
• Load, unload, or handle a hazardous material

Our course is interactive and designed to teach you how to use the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR). Students will perform hands-on exercises and have the opportunity to experience the regulations. This course is intended for the beginner and intermediate level users of the HMR. Our 8-hour course covers the following topics:

• Carrier Requirements & Emergency Notifications

Our course is based on the US Department of Transportation's Instructor Training and meets all DOT requirements of the HMR.
