Intro Wine Appreciation 'Class'
Getting acquainted with wine — the first step
 

 

Theory and practice is what this class is all about. Your Savvy Sommelier will guide you through an introduction of all of the elements of wine. Learning the FUN-damentals of wine appreciation with hands-on experience in:

- wine tasting techniques

- speaking the wine lingo like a pro

- describing characteristics of a wine

- glassware and decanters - does it make a difference?

- serving wine - there is more to it than popping a cork!

- appreciating the different types and styles of wine

- finding good value wines

- food and wine pairing techniques

- deciphering a restaurant's wine list

 

 

A gourmet lunch at TRIO Restaurant will be provided
