Sonic Spank was formed in early 2009 by Benjamin Karp & Ian McGuire. In 2010 they added up and coming drummer Scotty Zwang. The trio seamlessly blends all styles of music with a current focus on electronic rock. One could categorize Sonic Spank's new sound as "Electro Grunge" due to the band's heavy grooves, distorted guitar, wailing psychedelic synths, dynamic songwriting and edgy vocals/lyrics. Ben & Ian have been friends since Preschool and have collaborated on music since the beginning of High School which explains their undeniable chemistry on stage.
Sonic Spank has already made appearances at regional clubs, parties, radio stations and festivals with an enthusiastic response from audiences. So far, SONIC SPANK has been billed with major national/international acts including the Disco Biscuits, Pretty Lights, Skrillex, Bassnectar, Lotus, Crystal Method, The New Deal, Infected Mushroom, Big Gigantic, Future Rock, Orchard Lounge, Biodiesel, KJ Sawka, Brothers Past, Paper Diamond and The Egg.
Sonic Spank has major plans for 2012. With their first full length album 'Drama' set to release in the beginning of the Fall they plan to innovate their live concert experience, highlighted by big tours nationwide.

Sir Charles has been taking the southeast by storm for quite some time now and is quickly moving outside of this realm to become a national powerhouse. Boasting multiple releases this year already, Charles Weinert also has his debut full length album coming out on Eliot Lipp of Pretty Lights Music's record label. Currently managed by the Madero Group, Charles' team is very strong and proactive in making all of his shows a success.
Charles has shared multiple club gigs with many big players in the electronic game right now including Bassnectar, Pantyraid, Big Gigantic, Bonobo, Two Fresh, Conspirator, Paper Diamond, RJD2, Ana Sia, Bluetech, Mimosa, Eliot Lipp and more.
