Parkinson's disease, (PD), is a chronic, neurodegenerative disease that can lead to a wide range of symptoms and challenges.  This presentation will provide an overview of what PD is, what the signs and symptoms are, and what treatment options and resources are available.  We will also be going over some guidelines and strategies for managing PD, or helping people who have PD.

Presented by Anna Sanger Reed, Education and Outreach Coordinator with Parkinson's Resources of Oregon.  Anna has been working with the Parkinson's community, providing education and trainings, and developing services accross the region for nearly 5 years.

This program is in collaboration with Farmington Square Senior Care Community in Tualatin, Oregon.
