We would like to announce our next event which is scheduled to take place at the Stanford University Centre in Oxford on the 10th October 2009.

The day will consist of a buffet lunch at the Stanford Centre, following by an informal talk by Professor Rona Giffard, Faculty-in-Residence for Autumn Quarter.

Followed by a session with the Oxford SoCo students, who will talk about their experiences at Stanford.  These Oxford students have had the opportunity to be involved with the SoCo programme, taking their studies to Stanford.  Sophomore College offers students the opportunity to study intensively with Stanford faculty and small groups of other Stanford sophomores before the beginning of Fall quarter. All courses engage students in the materials and methods of inquiry of a particular academic field.

The complete the day Geoffrey Tyack will take our guests on a guided tour of the Oxford Colleges.
