Reserve a seat for this presentation at the Library to find out about environmental projects  (community service, service learning, and scientific) to help the TriCity area reduce its carbon footprint. 

 Joyce Blueford, Ph.D.  Geologist oversees most of these projects for the Math Science Nucleus.  She will discuss the reasons for restoration and how these projects all are connected to restore local flora and fauna.  This meeting is intended for high school students and motivated junior high students.  Scout masters, teachers, and parents are also welcome to learn about these programs.
