Description:  Join us at this year’s Discovery Educator Network (DEN) full-day pre-conference event.  This year’s event is BYOC - Bring Your Own Curiosity.  All day long you’ll tap into the collective brain and learn from your most valuable resource...each other.  The day will provide you with an exciting and enriching day of professional development focused on creative and effective ways to use digital media in the classroom.

Attendees can look forward to the following:

• Hands-On, cross-curricular workshops led by DEN STARs and Gurus
• Rising STAR: Discovery Education Back-To-Basics sessions
• Appy Hour: sharing best apps over a delicious lunch
• STEM-focused model lessons with Discovery Education Science Techbook
• The “Collective Brain” afternoon Unconference

Please Note: Sessions will be both hands-on and conference-style. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or mobile device and interact with the digital tools and resources we’ll be exploring throughout the day.
