 Online Event:  Reality Tour Drug Prevention 'Overview' for Coalitions                           

This training will present the Reality Tour Drug Prevention program's goals and outcomes with an emphasis on the ready-made roles for coalition members.  It will also illustrate how the organizing phase of the Reality Tour can add members or even create a coalition.

If your coaltition is interested in a permanent framework for prevention that permeates the community and provides continual access to a comprehensive parent/child prevention experience to launch parent and child discussion, the training will be of interest. 

The Reality Tour Program Model will be described along with its main features.  Using this framework to establish a permanent community network will be discussed along with the unique design of the program that allows it to always be up to date on your community drug trends. 

Program's affordability and self-sustaining measures will be highlighted.

 Who should attend?

·         Providers interested in reaching parents .

·         Coalitions that want to engage the community in prevention.

·         Providers desiring  a researched-based, innovative  program  responsive to  changing  drug trends.    

The free training will be hosted by Reality Tour developer Norma Norris.

CANDLE, Inc. was founded as a 501c3 non-profit in 2004, to oversee the Reality Tour Drug Prevention Program that started in Butler, PA.

CANDLE is served by a board of directors and is listed on PA's Bureau of Charitable Organizations. 

Norma Norris, originator of the Reality Tour, serves as Executive Director.
