Alice Paul: Homegrown Heroine is the first workshop in our three-part series for educators, Hear Her Voice: Teachers' Institute

In this workshop, educators will learn about an important historical figure in their students' own backyard!  Alice Stokes Paul (1885-1977), suffragist and author of the Equal Rights Amendment, was born at Paulsdale in Mount Laurel, NJ.  Participants will enjoy a presentation on Alice Paul; take a private tour of Paulsdale, her birthplace and family home; view our archives and Women's History Library; and learn how the Alice Paul Institute can help supplement your classroom curriculum.

Registration includes curriculum and resource materials, and a light dinner.
