The 2010 Patroller School is a two day event and is scheduled at Elk Mountain January 23 & 24, 2010.

Yes, it is two weeks later than in the past. We’re hoping for more terrain to work with.

The first format is designed to meet the needs of the individual patroller. As in the past, there will be the traditional format, which consists of one day with a PSIA instructor and one day with a Certified Patroller doing toboggan skills. The emphasis is on a fun, stress-free learning environment.

The second format will be for patrollers taking the Senior S&T exam. We will show the senior candidate the “whole test” in a positive non-testing environment. This will hopefully give the patroller individual feedback of their strengths and the areas that may need a little extra help. This clinic meets the requirements for EPA Senior Clinic and National CE. 

The third format available will be designed for those patrollers who are planning on becoming Alpine Toboggan Instructors or a Senior Trainer/Evaluator. Emphasis will be placed on teaching and training effectively. If you are interested in becoming a T/E or a local toboggan instructor come on up. Of course the famous Saturday pizza party will also be included.

We will also be piloting an Intro to Certified program. Hopefully, we will provide the interested patroller a broad overview to the program. We will of course run sleds, but will also provide a hands on OEC clinic. Please sign up early as we will be limited to 12 patrollers the first year.

 Certification upon completion:  Participant will receive Skier Enhancement Seminar or Toboggan Enhancement Seminar credit.

Course Fee:  $60.00 

NOTE 1: Course Fee includes 2 days instruction, lift tickets both days, and Saturday night pizza party. 

NOTE 2: 1st year EPA Region Candidates a $20 discount - ( Must have their patrol director confirm via email they are a 1st year candidate).

NOTE 3: Special Note:  No Patrol Jackets permitted, must wear civilian ski clothes.

There you will find a "PRINT TICKET" button.

Make sure your printer is turned on and click that button to print your ticket.

This will print two sheets, the first is your ticket to bring with you and the second is a order confirmation sheet.
