Startup Secrets Kickoff Event
Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM (EDT)
Startup Series Kickoff with Michael Skok
Join us for an informal networking event between current and future entrepreneurs and innovators to mark the kickoff of the Harvard i-lab “Startup Secrets” workshops. This will be a chance for those interested in attending the “Startup Secrets” series to hear an overview of the program and meet with some of the founders and leaders of companies featured in the case studies. Likewise current Startups and their teams are invited to meet and show their support for the class of 2013 students that are looking to become our next generation of business leaders!
Register for the first workshop following the kickoff here: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/4276838138
We will be checking all attendee registrations at the door this year. Please bring a printed or smartphone copy of your EventBrite registration and Harvard student ID if you register as a Harvard student. Attendance will be limited to registered guests and tickets will not be available at the door.
Note: Harvard Shuttles have a stop directly across from the i-lab, and you can track the shuttles online here: http://harvard.transloc.com/ If you are driving, please park in the i-lab's lot (entrance on Western Avenue, directions and payment information are here: http://i-lab.harvard.edu/parking).

Harvard innovation lab
The Harvard innovation lab is a new and innovative initiative that fosters team-based and entrepreneurial activities and deepens interactions among Harvard students, faculty, entrepreneurs, and members of the Allston and Greater Boston community. The i-lab supports Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s innovation agenda and activates a building that once housed WGBH-TV’s studios.
The i-lab encourages entrepreneurship and innovation across the University, bringing together many cross-curricular interests, including students from Harvard Business School, Harvard College, Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Harvard Graduate School of Design, Harvard Graduate School of Education, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Law School, Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Science, and Harvard School of Public Health.
