DESCRIPTION
How do you prepare young people for success in a global, technology-infused 21st century workplace? A key component is the use of educational technology as a means to facilitate new ways of teaching, learning, and communicating across your learning community.
During this session, participants will explore:
- how effective learning communities bridge educational technology with existing subject-area standards;
- data and trends shaping the new learning economy;
21st century skills and their implications on teaching and learning;
- NETS (National Educational Technology Standards) for students, teachers, and administrators as a road-map for success;
- models of effective 21st century learning communities.
