Event Details

 On the evening of October 14, 2009, the U.S. Green Building Council Central Florida Chapter will be hosting our Annual LEEDership Dinner at the Church Street Ballroom. This annual gala event is our opportunity to celebrate the Chapter’s growth and accomplishments over the past year and to recognize those in our community who are helping to shape green building in Central Florida.

This year’s dinner promises to be informative and inspiring. Formal dinner proceedings include the presentation of the 2009 LEEDership Awards, the Central Florida Chapter’s awards program for outstanding achievements by businesses and individuals, and keynote address by Ray Anderson, Chairman and Founder of Interface Inc. Under Ray’s leadership, Interface Inc. has grown to become the world’s largest manufacture of modular carpet tile, a pioneer of industrial ecology, and a champion of corporate sustainability. Ray’s inspirational account of his personal awakening to sustainable corporate initiatives and Interface Inc.’s commitment to the goal of sustainability and doing business in ways that minimize the impact on the environment while enhancing shareholder value represent the type of business plans we hope those in attendance are motivated to adopt.

Single tickets and tables for the LEEDership Dinner are on sale now through October 7th. We encourage you to share this evening with your friends, clients, and colleagues who share your passion for green building, or perhaps who could benefit from a little inspiration. No matter the size of your group, we hope that you are able to take advantage of this opportunity to meet like-minded professionals and celebrate and witness firsthand the tremendous momentum that green building has developed right here in our own community.

 

Ticket Types:

USGBC Central Florida Chapter Member - $100 Each

 US Green Building Council, Central Florida Chapter Emerging Green Building Members in good standing are offered single dinner tickets at a special members’s rate. Tickets purchased by members of the CF Chapter for the use by chapter members and their guests are available at a price of $50.00 each. EGB Tickets may only be used by EGB members and are not transferable to guests or Chapter members.


Non Members - $125 Each

US Green Building Council, Central Florida Chapter Members in good standing are offered single dinner tickets at a special members’s rate. Tickets purchased by members of the CF Chapter for the use by chapter members and their guests are available at a price of $100.00 each. Guests of chapter members who are themselves not members of the chapter may also be purchased at the member rate.

 

USGBC Central Florida Chapter EGB Members - $50 Each

Those wishing to attend the dinner who are not member of the US Green Building Council, Central Florida Chapter may purchase tickets for $125.00 each.
