Little Voices in Our Heads
Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (PDT)
Little Voices in Our Heads: Choosing, Teaching and Enjoying music in the Early Chidhood Classroom
In this interactive workshop, educators will sing, dance, laugh and review the benefits and importance of integrating music and movement into the early childhood and early elementary classroom. Participants will learn how music making with students enhances literacy, builds self-esteem and makes any lesson more effective and memorable. Drawing on a large repertoire that includes original and traditional songs from around the globe, Susan will empower all workshop attendees to make beautiful music with their students.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is street parking directly in front of the building on Wabash. Adjacent to our building, on its South side, there is a parking lot offering competitive rates with other downtown parking garages and lots.
We are conveniently located one block north of the Harrison red line stop and four blocks south of the LaSalle blue line station.
