The Witch and Moan 5K and One Mile zombie Chase

It's time for the second annual RunnersWorld Tulsa Halloween Witch and Moan 5K and one mile Zombie Chase! This is no ordinary Sunday night run though. This my friends is the Spookiest run of the year. For a small $5 donation, you are entering yourself into a fun night of  Trick or Treating with several hundred of your closest running buddies. Don't have a strong constitution? Don't worry, you're still going to do great.

Turkey Mountain will be decorted in all the Halloween Finery to combine fitness and the fun of Trick or Treating.

This years theme is all about the candy!

Participate in one or both: the one mile Zombie chase or the three mile Witch and Moan. (Both event are non-timed)

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, watch scary movies on the big inflatable movie screen, bob for apples, enter the costume contest  and otherwise enjoy an old-fashioned Halloween good time! all participants are encouraged towear a costume.

New this year is the "Terrifying turkey" nighttime on the trails run.

This will be a nighttime guided 3 mile run to some of the spookiest places on the Mountain. You will visit caves, Old Homesteads, train tracks and traverse some of the creepiest trails out there. Who know what is lurking in the woods? (Headlamp is required)

Start time for the Terrifying Turkey will be appx. 8:15 PM.

So, why are we having this little get together? RunnersWorld Tulsa offers free training programs for all levels of runners and it requires a lot of snacks and Gatorade to fuel those runners. All proceeds from the Witch and Moan and Zombie Chase go towards purchasing snacks, Gatorade, cups, water jugs, tables, etc. for all the RunnersWorld Tulsa training runs.

• One Mile Trail run/walk
• Three mile Paved run/walk
• 3-4 mile trail run (Headlamp required!)

• Fall Festival Atmosphere!
• Spooky Movies! (Family approved)

Enter in the Trick or Treat zone decorating contest and have a chance at winning a $300 or greater cash prize!

Grab your friends, co-workers, school group or go solo, set up and decorate a trick or treat spot and hand out candy (we provide the candy) and if your area has the best decoration, theme/entertainment  you could win $300 or more in cold hard cash.
