Event Details

Enjoy an informative guided hike through the Natural Areas led by an experience naturalist and native plant specialist. 

Meet a few minutes before 9:00 a.m. at the trail entrance in the parking lot behind the fishing museum across from Pinellas Extension/Florida Botanical Gardens (FBG).  Trail entrance is closer to the FBG Walsingham Road entrance.  If using the Extension/FBG parking lot off Ulmerton Road walk over the McKay Creek bridge and through the gardens to the east parking lot behind the fishing museum.

Recommend participants bring water, wear closed toed shoes such as sneakers and insect repellant. May also chose to bring binoculars and/or a camera as birds and other wildlife may be visible. No strollers please. Trail is uneven walking. Hike will last about one hour.
