West Virginia is a mecca for nature and landscape photographers and in late spring the rugged mountains come to life in fresh green spring leaves and rushing waterfalls and cascades. This One Day workshop will explore the many waterfalls and mountain streams surrounding Canaan Valley and Blackwater Falls State Parks. We will meet before sunrise for a shoot over the rugged landscape of Blackwater canyon and then spend the rest of the day exploring the many streams and waterfalls in the area. The workshop finishes up with a sunset shoot at dramatic Bear Rocks on Dolly Sods.

You will need a DSLR, wide angle lens, circular polarizer and sturdy tripod for this workshop.

Transportation, meals and lodging are not included in the cost.

Activity Level: Moderate (low level of hiking but some scrambiling over rocks and steep hillside to navigate)
